THE ARMOURY IN LIGHTS DRIVE-IN EXPERIENCE

Hi Chatham-Kent! Santa here!

We are so excited to announce that we have a covid proof plan for the Armoury in Lights this year — we cannot wait to be “Home for the Holidays!!”

We had over 5000 people enjoy the projection mapping show in its first year – it was a huge success!! We are so happy we can continue this new tradition in 2020 and are expecting even more people to see the show from the comfort of their own vehicles!!

Let me tell you a little more about our mission…  Ho Ho Ho!!

Important Registration Notes:

• Each Registration is limited to ONE VEHICLE and ONE EVENT. You do not need to list number of people per car.
• The name of the Vehicle Driver should be the name on the Registration.
• Minimum $5 DONATION to NeighbourLink Supportive Housing Initiative required.

The Armoury in Lights MISSION:

To create community partnerships and to bring the community together by providing a memorable family experience to celebrate the Christmas season while adhering to covid safety measures.

To accomplish our mission we are coordinating a 7 day, drive-in style event that combines projection mapping technology at the Chatham Armoury with live performances by Santa and his elves.

We plan to create community partnerships by…

  1.  seeking out advertising sponsorships with local businesses and corporations.
  2. working with local artists & performers and giving them the opportunity to share their talents.
  3. working with local businesses to encourage people to shop local.
  4. donating money to a new initiative to help the homeless in Chatham-Kent. This initiative for the homeless is in the early stages of development.

It is a supportive housing group under Neighbour Link – they are hoping to call it “Indwell”, currently with a confirmed date to go before City Council to seek community lead funding.

SHOWS WILL RUN DECEMBER 14-20, 2020 @ 5:30pm, 7:30pm & 9:30pm – THE CHATHAM ARMOURY, 44 William St. N.
ALL CARS MUST BE REGISTERED FOR THE EVENT.

THIS IS A FREE EVENT – WE ARE ASKING ALL PARTICIPANTS TO HELP THE HOMELESS IN C-K WITH A MINIMUM OF $5 DONATION UPON  REGISTRATION
